Admission form into Ekiti State University, EKSU 5-year part-time degree programmes is now on sale for the 2015/2016 academic session. EKSU Part-Time programmes run on weekends (Fridays. Saturdays and sometimes Sundays).
Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates into the Bachelor’s Degree Programmes approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in the Part-Time programmes of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria for the 2015/2016 academic session.

  • B.Sc.  Banking and Finance
  • B.Sc.  Business Administration
  • B.Sc.  Economics
  • B.Sc.  Geography and Planning Science
  • B.Sc.  Political Science
  • B.Sc.  Psychology
  • B.Sc.  Sociology
  • B.A.  History and International Studies

EKSU Part-Time Degree – Admission Requirements.

  1. B.Sc. Accounting
  2. B.Sc. Banking and Finance
  3. B.Sc. Business Administration
Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in examinations SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects one of which must be a Social Science, Management or Commercial subject. Commerce may be acceptable in lieu of Economics for the B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Business Administration,
4. B.Sc. Economics
Five O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Mathematics, Economics, English Language and two other subjects one of which must be from the Social Sciences,
5. B.Sc. Sociology
Five O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB examination in English Language, Mathematics and any other two Social Science subjects chosen from Government, Economics and Geography,
  6. B.Sc. Psychology
Five O’Level credit passes SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in English Language, Biology and any other three subjects one of which must be a Social Sciences subject. At least, a pass in Mathematics is required,
7. B.Sc. Geography and Planning Science
Five O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Mathematics, English Language, Geography and two other subjects one of which must be from the Social Sciences,
8. B.Sc. Political Science
Five O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Mathematics, English Language, Government and any other Social Science Subjects
9. B.A. History and International Studies
Five O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB five subjects in English Language, History/Government and at least one other Arts subject.
DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS –  Duration 4 years
Applicants must possess the O’Level requirements as contained in i – ix for the intended programme of study. In addition, candidates must have:
  • National Diploma with minimum of Upper Credit from a recognized institution or
  • At least two GCE A level passes in relevant subjects.
  • Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized Institution
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE THREE YEAR PROGRAMMES
Applicants must possess the O’level admission requirements for the intended programme of study. In addition, candidates must possess at least the Higher National Diploma with minimum of upper credit in relevant disciplines from a recognized institution.
ADMISSION INTO DIPLOMA IN LAW PROGRAMME
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into a two-year Part-Time Diploma in Law Programme of the University as follows:
Admission Requirements
A candidate must possess at least:
  • Four credit passes in the Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE), General Certificate Examinations (GCE) Ordinary Level at not more than two sittings. This must include English Language and Literature in English
OR
  • Two passes at the Advanced Level General Certificate Examination
  • A degree of the University or any other University approved by the Senate of the University.

EKSU Part-Time Degree – Method  of Application.

  • Candidates are to log on to the University’s website: portal.eksu.ng.
  • Candidates are to pay the sum of eleven thousand naira only (N 11.000:00) for the degree programmes and six thousand naira only (N6.000:00) for the Diploma in Law programme by the usage of ATM card (Verve/Mastercard).
  • Click on Part-Time application for the degree programme.
  • Click on ‘Diploma in Law’ for the Diploma in Law programme.
  • Click interswitch logo for payment.
  • Enter the information requested for validation.
  • Fill in the application form and submit after completion.
  • Print a copy of the form after submission.
  • Duly completed application forms with photocopy of credentials are to be submitted to the office of the Secretary. Directorate of Part-Time Programmes on the Ifaki Campus of the University.
NOTE:
  • The O’Level requirements for all courses are to be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • All advertised programmes run on PART-TIME basis i.e. on weekends (Fridays. Saturdays and sometimes Sundays).
  • All duly completed applications must be submitted within six weeks from the date of this advertisement.
